Good hotel in a not so good area

This hotel is ok for a couple of nights stay. To the price paid pr night I can only recomment it. Friendly staff who can provide everything you need. E.g. helped us to get sim-cards (we were rejected cards at the airport). Everybody seemed to be doing their best for the visitors. Breakfast was nothing to write about, we sticked to plain toast and jam. The area around the hotel is the worst area regarding scams, maybe because it is situated close to the New Delhi railway station. We were served by a very polite man, Nakim, almost all the time. He was really helpfull and trying his best to keep up a high standard. We booked a driver at the hotel for a day-trip. I will recomment anybody to do the same to avoid hassle and scams.

Clean and cheap hotel, probably not in one of the best areas of Delhi but that is reflected in the price. Staff were helpful with day trips and onward travel,we hired a driver for the day through the travel desk, Anwar our driver is highly recommended. Breakfast was passable.

A good hotel with dishonest and crooked booking Manager This is a good hotel in the busy Paharganj area of Delhi, I have stayed in this hotel once. During my first stay, I found this hotel good, cleanliness of room, bed sheets, room ambience etc were better than what I expected. This has made me book the hotel for a second time in 2022. The booking was done over phone, and the staff at the hotel confirmed my booking as rooms were available. I was told to pay the tariff on arrival. My expected check-in time was around 6PM but my flight got delayed, and I have conveyed the change in the check in time to 11 PM. The same guy has reconfirmed my booking after noting the new check-in time. I arrived hotel by 11 PM and was shocked to hear that rooms are sold off. The booking staff twisted the whole episode and claimed that my check in time was 11 morning and not night, and since I have not turned up during day time, they allocated the rooms to others. I found the staff lying to my face, point blank without the slightest level of indignity. They proved to be Masters in lying. When I argued that they were lying to me, they exhibited arrogant body language to send me a message of hooliganism. I later understood that they have sold the room to others at a higher price. There was some exhibition going on in Delhi and most of the hotels in that area was booked. I had to search atleast half a dozen hotels on the same night before checking in some dingy room at around 1 Am . This incident has taught me the true colour of the hotel staff and how they can twist and misinterpret facts. If they wanted a higher price, the same could have communicated to me. Whoever want to book this hotel, I request is to pay advance even if they insist to pay at the counter so that they cant deny your payment transaction. I have stayed in many hotels in Delhi and never had such harrowing experience. After all cheats have many reasons and innovative ways to fool you and dont become a victim to such unprofessional people. Afterall there are plenty of hotels in this area and vicinities. I also had another experience while booking a hotel in Connaught place, but not with the hotel staff. I contacted one of the hotels where I want to check in and I found that the rates offered to me was much much lower than what was shown in google. The person offered these 'special rate' and asked me to confirm booking by sending the payment. I smelled something fishy and checked with another contact number of the same hotel who told that I contacted a bogus number and I was lucky not to loose my money. So be careful while you do hotel booking, in case of suspicion, recheck with other numbers or speak to hotel staff directly or get confirmation by mail.

I would definitely avoid this hotel, they are homophobic and therefore racist. I had asked via Whatsapp if they were LGBT friendly, to which they replied that they were not. See screenshot. Of course I did not book a room here, I will not spend money on it.

Staff nice and helpful rooms are neat and clean staff are nice and helpful moreover breakfast nice and lots of options they have roof top restaurant for dinner nakib was very helpfull during the stay
